One of the best moments of my childhood.

I can’t even tell you how excited I was that they turned this book into a movie and it was good

I literally have absolutely no complaints with the movie at all. Once, my friend and I did comparisons from the book and the movie, and we found the only major difference was the fact that Stanley wasn’t heavy set when he arrived at the camp in the movie. The majority of the script is raw quotations from the book.
This is my favorite book to movie adaptation and it did everything Percy Jackson, Inkheart, and The Golden Compass didn’t.

yesss this was such a good book and film

Reindeer breeders in Finland think they may have found a way to prevent their animals from being hit by cars — glow-in-the-dark antlers. Anne Ollila, head of Finland’s Reindeer Herders’ Association, told Agence France-Presse they have begun testing reflective sprays on the animals to make them more visible to motorists at night. Around 4,000 Finnish reindeer are killed in traffic accidents every year, according to figures cited by the BBC.

The skull-shaped Snapdragon Flower Dragon(Antirrhinum majus) seed pod. The Antirrhinum, commonly known as the snapdragon has been a popular garden plant for many years.  Also known as the dragon flower, its common name derives from the resemblance of the flower to a dragon’s head.Yet once the flower has died, leaving behind the seed pod, something a little more macabre appears.  The dragon – just a visual metaphor after all – appears to have a skull.
